Asics development members and creative consultants at Kiko Kostadinov Studios reconnected with their trail running roots to create the HS4-S GEL-SONOMA™ 15-50 GTX. The color palette of this shoe, born with the concept of "OUTDOOR ESCAPISM", refers to scenic and ocean scenery. The upper is equipped with Gore-Tex fabric, which is highly waterproof and breathable.
The upper is inspired by the 15-50™, which was introduced in 2002 as a cross-country spike for sports that run through a variety of environments and weather conditions. Meanwhile, the touring uses the components of the GEL-SONOMA™ and GEL-SONOMA™ 2 trail running shoes. It features a rear foot gear, lightweight and cushioned SpEVA midsole, and an AHAR+ rubber outsole that provides excellent grip. It has been introduced as a lifestyle shoe that can be used in a variety of environments, from everyday lifestyle scenes to hiking.
