A collection of works by Polish artist Alicja Kwade. It was published in conjunction with a large-scale solo exhibition held at the Langen Foundation Museum from September 2020 to August 2021 by the author, who is considered to be one of the most important visual artists of his generation.
The Berlin-based author has built close connections with Ando Tadao's masterpiece, the museum's building, and has envisioned an exhibition that extends to its vast grounds to create dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The works that look at the structure of reality and society and pose questions about it reflect the visual habits we repeat in our everyday lives. The diverse works of the stranger, developed based on concepts such as space, time, science, and philosophy, appear as sculpture, public installations, video and photography.
