A collection of works by Japanese artist Sugagi Shio. This book was held at BLUM & POE in Los Angeles in 2012, and is a collection of the author's first solo exhibition in North America. This book, which examines the 50 years of artistic activities of the author, one of the central figures in the Monoha, is full of the exhibition, and features 70 illustrations of works that have not been published for over 40 years. It contains essays by Ashley Rawlings, who specializes in postwar Japanese and Korean art, especially Monoha and Monochromatic Painting (Dansaekhwa), and is the director of BLUM & POE TOKYO.
