A collection of works by Venezuelan artist Luchita Hurtado. This is written by Hans Ulrich Obrist, curator and artistic director of London's Serpentine Galleries. Created to celebrate the author's fascinating life, this book contains dialogue with Hans and a huge collection of unseen photographs and works that have been unearthed, unearthed, and has been discovered from the studio's vast archives. The text traces the author's history, starting in Venezuela, and from New York to Mexico, to California, where he moved to 1949. Between these chapters of the story, there are a series of quotes from the author's visual world (from self-portraits and drawings of erotic encounters to photographic records of passionate engagement with family and nature). It shows the life of the author, full of vibrant life.
