[Ostby Barton]
A vintage ring from Ostby Barton, an American jewelry manufacturer founded in 1880.
Engelhart Cornelius Ostby, who studied metallurgy in his hometown of Oslo, Norway, traveled to the United States to launch Ostby Barton with Nathan B. Barton.
With his extraordinary talent, Ostby quickly nurtured Ostby Barton into a global brand, but in 1912 he sank into the deep sea with his daughter on his way home from France's journey to buy jewelry.
My daughter, who was 22 years old at the time, was able to ride a lifeboat and survived.
She then joined the other brothers as co-owner of Ostby Barton, but in the 1950s the brand's history came to an end.
