After completing the New York Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), he graduated from Musashino Art University. SUGARHILL is designed by Hayashi Rikuya, a slightly 24-year-old who is making a leap every year. The brand name comes from the Sugar Hill area of New York, where he lived while at FIT.
