After completing the New York Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), he graduated from Musashino Art University. SUGARHILL is designed by Hayashi Rikuya, a slightly 24-year-old who is making a leap every year. The brand name comes from the Sugar Hill area of New York, where he lived while at FIT. While attending school, he gained experience with famous brands both domestically and internationally, and made his debut in 2016.
