A collection of works by Prinz Gholam, an artist duo by German Wolfgang Prinz and Lebanese Michel Gholam. Since 2001, the two have been producing performance works that treat the self and body as social constructs. Through body movements, we reveal and dismantle iconographic awareness that has been consciously or unconsciously imprinted upon us. This book gives an overview of the activities of the two of them, and continues the spirit of self-published books that have been produced in recent years. It can also be seen as a sequence that looks back on performances that have continued over the past 15 years, including works presented at the international art exhibition "Documenta 14." It also includes essays by Lebanon-born Canadian writer Rawi Hage and Canadian short story writer Madeleine Thien, who interpret the work of the artist duo from a personal perspective, by German and Lebanese.
