This atelier coat is a mix of American-made work coats from the 1940s and British-made work coats from the 1940s, and is reconstructed from T.T's unique perspective. Based on the AW21's Lot.401 Engineer Coat, the front belt has been removed and the sewing has been changed to suit the material.
SUMI DYED BLACK is made of a material dyed in ink from nep tweed, herringbone tissue. The herringbone pattern is mostly shaded, giving it a sense of Japanese aesthetic sense.
BLACK is made from tweed material made from Suffolk wool. The springy properties of the fibers make it light and highly insulating, with plenty of air. It uses original Bakelite buttons with Art Deco engraving.
