Taiga Takahashi BUCKLE-BACKED DENIM TROUSERS (RAW INDIGO)

Takahashi Taiga liked denim from a brand known as a store-based brand more than Levi's.

In particular, J.C. Penny, who developed the brand Foremost. In the 1920s, he began making denim that imitated Levi's, and gradually he developed original designs. They collected these denims and felt the will they would try and differentiate themselves from Levi's in every detail, and took over that intention, and TaigaTakahashi's original denim was born. 3/1 left twill and light ounce denim made from organic cotton from the US and woven on an old-fashioned power loom in Okayama. Denim fabric is slowly woven on an old-fashioned power loom, also known as a shuttle loom, which can only be woven at a low speed of 10 to 20 of a modern loom, and the original unevenness of cotton thread remains, creating unevenness in a good way. The warp thread is an indigo mixed with sulfur dyes, and is characterized by a weathered green cast color. The core is dyed with rope dye. The weft is made of custom-made nep yarn dyed to create a yellowing, tinglying sensation of time. By using these two types of threads, we have arrived at Taiga Takahashi's unique, thick, deep indigo blue.

The finishing touches are treated with a shrink-proofing process called sanforized.

It is made of "white ears" selvedge denim fabric, and white ears are used on various places, including the back of the belt. This denim silhouette is a formal trousers from the 1910s found in France. Because the belt loop itself does not exist, I used to live with buttons on the waistband and suspenders. The silhouette is designed with ears on both sides, and a thick silhouette that falls straight from the top to the hem. Custom-made rivets are placed in the areas where the force is applied, and the engraved buttons and bags are all made of iron and the surface is not plated, so you can enjoy the changes over time as they will rust over time. Signature's leather patches were mud dyed on Amami Oshima.
