Taiga Takahashi COSSACK LEATHER JACKET (AI DYED NAVY)

Based on a leather jacket made in the USA and found in New York. The sleeves and armholes are wrapped around before, and beautiful silhouettes that give off a remnant of the time when they were still riding horses. We created original fan-shaped zippers and bakelite buttons with Art Deco engraving. The horse leather is made of tanned tanned leather. Pit tanning is a method of tanning in which the plant is soaked for a long time in a tank filled with resin tannins from the plant. This is a manufacturing method that takes about a month to finish, and takes time and effort, and only a few companies in Japan use it. 

AI DYED NAVY is from Tokushima.Knot"Honini-dyed" is made using fermented (sukokumo).
It is dyed using ancient indigo dyeing techniques, which are extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive.Knot(Sukkumo) refers to the key dyes in indigo dyeing. The leaves of a plant called Tade indigo are dried, fermented and aged to form compost, and are all made by hand by a professional called Indigo. The fermentation proceeded after aged for six months to a year.KnotAdd lye (aku) with dissolved ash to the skull and ferment it to form a dyeing solution. Making this dyeing solution is called "aidate", and to help the dyeing solution ferment, bran and sake are added and mixed in the morning and evening for 1-2 weeks. The deep blue color created in this way is called Japan Blue.
