The jacket worn by workers at the French Navy shipyard Chantier Naval in the 1950s was redesigned with original T.T denim. It is believed that this was the clothes worn by workers who worked in the maintenance work of the ship, such as sandblasting. The French army has several similarly designed jackets, but this one has pockets on the left and right sides of the body, making it a rare type that can be worn by raising the collar around the neck. The original jacket has quite small armholes and the angle of the front swing was steep, so we adjusted it to be worn on a daily basis. The original is an ink blue cotton twill fabric, and although it is not a design that actually existed in the past, it has a design that gives off a sense of American work to its clothing designed in France.
