Based on a USPS shirt from around 1960. The reinforced fabric on the front and back shoulders has a bold design. Reinforced shoulder fabric is also used on USPS outerwear and is a distinctive detail on US Postal uniforms. The vintage fabric was cotton poplin, but we used Omi bleached typewriter broadcloth to create a lightweight work shirt. The left shoulder has the remains of a badge worn by a postal worker as a detail.
