The base is a knit cardigan from the 1960s from a long-established Austrian manufacturer founded in the second half of the 19th century. The manufacturer is said to have brought knitting technology from the UK. It is a very advanced technique that continues with a rather tight knit with a molded knit with no seams to the folded part of the neck. We use a thread that combines the flexibility of lamb and the elasticity of adult sheep, made from a blend of WEANERS wool, which is between lamb and adult sheep.

The cardigan is an inspiration from a 1960s knit cardigan by an old-established Austrian manufacturer founded in the late 19th century, which is said to have introduced knitting techniques from the UK. The cardigan showcases a tightly knitted fabric and a seamless, shaped knitting technique that extends to the neck fold-over, a feature quite advanced in earlier times.
We used yarns made primary from WEANERS wool, which is intermediate between lamb and mature sheep, blended with fine Merino wool to obtain the softness of lamb wool and the elasticity of mature Merino wool.
